Camp Rising Sun Summer Reunion 2017 (July 21st - 23rd)

There will be a special welcome for these notable reunion classes, who can come for free. If you attended camp in one of these years please use code REUNION2017 for complimentary admission.  

CRS 1957: Celebrating 60 years
CRS 1967: Celebrating 50 years 
CRS 1977: Celebrating 40 years 
CRS 1987: Celebrating 30 years
CRS 1992: Celebrating 25 years
CRS 1997: Celebrating 20 years
CRS 2007: Celebrating 10 years
CRS 2012: Celebrating 5 years

Registration and pricing 

• $200.00  -  Individual Package (Meals and a bed in a shared tent for the whole weekend)

• $450.00  -  Two Adults (Meals and a private tent for 2 people)

• $500.00  -  Family Package (Meals and accommodation in a tent, 2 adults and children 12 and under)

• $125.00  -  Meals Only: Whole Weekend

• $50.00  -  Saturday Only Pass including meals (Libby and Mandy Day)

Friday, July 21

5:00-7:00 PM: Guest check & Cocktails in the Camper’s Lounge

7:00 pm Dinner

8:15 PM- Board Games in the Dining Hall

Sleeping accommodations at Camp or at local hotel/B & B (your choice)

Saturday, July 22

8:00-9:00 AM: Breakfast at Camp

9:15 AM-12:00 PM: Attend LAJF Board Meeting at Camp, pool will be open

12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch & Libby & Mandy Day Program

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Instructions & Projects

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: SST (Self-structured Time), pool will be open

6:30 PM- 7:30 PM: Dinner

8:30 PM- 10:30 PM: Alumni Council

Sleeping accommodations at Camp or at local hotel/ B & B (your choice)

Sunday, July 23

8:00 AM- 9:00 AM: Breakfast at Camp or on your own

9:30 AM- 11:30 AM: Community Meeting

12:00 PM-1:00 PM: Lunch- either bag lunch or sit down

1:00 PM-3:00 PM: Trips to local Vineyard or Red Hook Golf Course or SST

20% Discount for active committee members. Please use code COMM2017 to redeem the discount if you are an active committee member. 

50% Discount for all full-time students! If students use the discount code, they will be asked to volunteer 3 hours of their time at the reunion. Use code STU2017 when registering to redeem your discount. 

100% Discount for alumni celebrating notable reunion years (listed above). Please use code REUNION2017 to redeem this discount. 

Camp season staff will receive either a free individual package or meals only package. Please use code STAFF2017 to redeem this discount.

By car: 

It is a two hour drive from New York City. If you are driving and have spare seats and would like to carpool, please let us know in the registration form. 

By train: 

The nearest train station to camp is Rhinecliff. There are trains to Rhinecliff from Penn Station (NYC). It is a 15 minute car ride from the train station to camp. We will provide rides from Rhinecliff to camp on Friday for selected train arrivals in the afternoon.  In addition to filling out the registration form, please email alumnireunion@lajf.org if you wish to be picked up from the train station.  We will also coordinate rides to get to the train station on Sunday.
