HELP ME FLY TO MY DREAM – WALKING IS NOT AN OPTION!

Hello friends and donors!

My name is Andromachi Dadouli –my friends call me Machi- and I am in the fortunate position of having earned a full scholarship to Camp Rising Sun, a leadership camp which provides activities promoting individual growth, global values, moral principles and leadership skills. I was selected to attend the 2018 summer session for girls 15-16 years old from over 25 countries.

If it wasn’t for the school I am attending, Anatolia College, I would probably never had the chance to take part in such a life-changing experience. I am extremely happy for this opportunity to explore the world! I will represent my country, Greece, and its tradition. As a result, I believe I will get to know new people from different cultures and backgrounds, although with many things in common since we all are teenagers.

It has always been a dream of mine to travel to foreign countries and develop my skills in order to study abroad, later in the future. I love my country but since we have had a financial and political crisis for the past decade, there is a need for young people to be highly educated and experienced in leadership and diplomacy. Thus, gaining this experience will help me truly contribute to my society.

The problems we are facing, not just in my country, can only be solved by realizing that cultures and people are not that different from one another.

I would be so grateful for a donation of any amount towards my goal of $1,356. Thank you in advance for helping me to become an active and useful global inhabitant who will improve as much as possible the world we live in.
